We are a meeting place for 12-Step recovery groups. We host meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Alanon and Overeaters Anonymous seven days a week, so check out our Meeting Schedule — or just drop by. Chances are we’ll be there with the coffee on and a Big Book open.

We’re located at 317 W. 5th St. in Concordia. That’s between Cedar and State, one block north of Rod’s — and a block west of the Corner Liquor Store (and we all know where that is, right?).

The Freedom Club is owned and operated by Freedom Board Inc., an independent nonprofit organization with a nine-member volunteer board of directors. For 2017, the president of the board is Allen S. Although the Freedom Board cooperates with Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-step groups, there is no affiliation between them.

OFFICERS AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The three PERMANENT members of the Board of Directors are: Doyle R., Kevin S. and Bill C.

The remaining six members of the Board of Directors serve three-year terms. Serving in 2017 are: Allen S., Jeff B., Linda H., Michelle R., Sarah J. and Sue L.

Allen is president, Bill C. is vice president and Doyle is treasurer. Cindy G. is secretary; she does not have to be a board member to serve in that position.
